Negative Cost
The actual final cost of producing, photographing and delivering the completed film negative and related duplication masters for a motion picture.
Negative Pick-up Deal
A distribution arrangement in which all licensing rights for domestic or foreign territories, or for the entire world, are acquired by a distributor or sales company for a single fixed price. For a large enough price, the copyright also may be included.
